Manufacturing with DLP

Digital Alternative to Injection Molding

At Primary, we work closely with 3D Systems. Our staff specializes in design and manufacturing on their Figure 4 machines.  With this experience and knowledge, our engineers can help you optimize your designs to minimize waste to increase cost-savings.

We use the Figure 4 from 3D Systems which implements continuous DLP technologies. These machines provide a cost-effective, digital alternative to injection molding. Using a high-speed, direct production process, the Figure 4 offers the benefits of traditional manufacturing methods without all the disadvantages.

Components built on these machines have both the performance and high-quality finish of injection molded parts but without the long wait and expensive tooling. 3D Systems has developed a wide range of materials with various mechanical properties for this resin-based machine.

Advantages

  • Alternative to Injection Molding

  • No Tooling or Casting

  • Ultra-Fast Build Times

  • Cost-Efficient

  • Hybrid Materials with Range of Properties

  • Otherwise Impossible Complex Designs
